we originally had planned to skip getting a christmas tree this year since we’ll be in new orleans, but after seeing zelda’s enthusiasm and interest for the christmas trees in nyc, we couldn’t say no. zach brought us home the perfect sized tree yesterday afternoon and we all decorated it together while listening to some holiday music. you’ll notice we have some hello kitty ribbon on the tree, a nyc ornament, one from fao schwarz, a salt dough snow flake zelda made last years and finally santa peeking out from a chimney that i made in 1987. i love having these reminders of memories or small representations of what is important to us on the tree.zelda made sure kitty and larry helped and were included with the tree decorating as well.i think we are all decorated for the season but for the garland we have to hang. tonight is the first of our season’s festivities with zach’s company holiday party. we get a date night and zelda is going to do a sleepover at some friends. should be fun for everyone involved. here’s to a sweet holiday season!once most of the decorations were on the tree zelda stepped behind the camera to get a few shots of mama and papa.
