We all took a creative interlude yesterday with Auntie Karen to build up some gingerbread houses. Well, actually, they weren’t gingerbread, rather we used graham crackers for the structures. We built and decorated away, each of us ending up with a unique and fun take on a gingerbread house (or barn, as I attempted to make).
Zelda provided great oversight and advice to us builders while we were working, and maintained a strict quality-control check system for the chex and broken graham crackers (notice all the crumbs around that smile). I’d guess that by this time next year, Zelda will work with us or be working to build her own (and that will be much too quickly and all too soon, but it’ll still be fun!).
